The study on women is one of the most diversified areas of study as it includes various areas, such as history of women struggle, the movements and various changes that has taken place in years. The study of multiple movements has always shown how women throughout the world has stood together raising their voices and attained the rights they demanded from the society. But still society continues with the stereotype norms of patriarchy, and still is a big question to the post-modern world, as the level of patriarchy is different in different societies. Hence this paper is a general study, over the changing mentality of the society regarding women and the attainment of empowerment in different stages of life.
